how much to take?

How much pop or water do you take, how much is too much? Ill be on a 5 day, its, me, dh, and 3 kids. Dh is diabetic and drinks a lot of water and pop he only likes diet Pepsi. So what's too much? We would pack it, not carry it on. THX

I usually bring like 6-12 bottles of soda for a 7 day cruise for 3 people.

We never bring water---the ship's water is fine to drink! We do bring a water bottle for excursions where the food/drink is "iffy".

im taking 2 12 packs of coke zero on my 7 day....would like to bring water, but it doesnt mix as good with my jack daniels:p that comes out to about 3 a day, so i wouldnt consider it too much....ive already bought plenty of drink coupons and 4 bottles from bon voyage, so carnival has no fear of losing money from me....

We bring a 12 pack per person (OK, sometimes a 24 pack for myself)with no problems. We each also bring a large sport bottles. These has been a life saver on some excursions (filled with ice and taken to the beach) and they are great to fill and keep poolside.

They only serve Coke on board. If you need a cold pepsi pick me up look for a vending machine at one of your excursions. Coke just isn't the same as a cold pepsi!
