If we take the #26 bus from the pier do we need exact change...in Danish coins? If so, what's the fare amount. Does the bus have maybe an ATM/Credit Card swipe ability?

Leaving the port on the #26...what's the best stop to get off at the start the "Castle" walk...it think I read you can follow the Royal Guard from one castle to the other?

Thanks ahead for the help!

The fare is DKK 21 per adult for a 2-zone ticket, children under 12 are free (when travelling with an adult, maximum two free children per adult), children 12 to 15 years old are half price. The ticket is not only valid on the bus but valid for unlimited travel and an unlimited number of changes between bus, metro, S-train and regional trains in central Copenhagen (zones 1, 2 and 3) for one hour. For travelling to the airport, you need a 3-zone ticket, which is DKK 31,5. It is also possible to buy a 10 trip-card (eg. a 10 trip 2-zone card at DKK 130, thus only DKK 13 per trip. However these cards are not available in the buses, only at train stations and at some shops. The cards are stamped in the bus or at the train platform before starting you journey. Validity follows the same rules as ordinary tickets.

Bus drivers accept cash only, (no credit cards), and of course only Danish currency. Change is given, (only small amounts, large bills are not accepted). I don't know where you can get a 10-trip card near Freeport or Langelinie. Probably, you can get these cards at Langelinie, but not at Freeport. Closest card sale facility from Freeport is probably Nordhavn Station.
