I got 10 extra non sailing guest!

Recommended Posts

I just posted this to someone in another thread, but thought I'd share with the board, as I'm sure many of you would benefit from the information.

My wedding is in 22 days. I called about 2 weeks ago because I wanted to let my cousins bring their children. I didn't want them not to come because they couldn't find a sitter.

I called because I wanted to know if I had to pay for the children. I was told that children under 7 count toward my guest total, but I wouldn't have to pay for them. I explained how I had 7 small children and my concern that they would take me over my guest count. The planner approved me for 57.

Well a week or so later I emailed my planner, thanked her for allowing the extra 7 and asked if we could make it an even 60, LOL. She said yes, but also warned that any additional guest would need to be sailing.

Hope this helps!
