Private Island Beach

What do people think about this Carnival excursion? Or is it just as good to hit the beach right off the dock?

It's my understanding that there are few good beaches on the mainland so most people do some type of excursion off shore. We're doing the reef snorkel and beach break right off the ship. The catamaran comes out to the ship to pick you up.

I didn't see anything that looked like a beach at the dock, only poverty. We are heading to the Island if it's open.

Us too!:) The excursion is showing again on the CCL website for our June sailing, so we keep hoping!!:D
