Dolphin encounters instead of Carnivals's??

We want to do a dolphin encounter but I don't know if Atlantis one Carnival offers is worth the extra $. Dolphin encounter on Blue Lagoon seems like a nice alternative. Of course me being a worry wart worries about finding a taxi to and from the ferry terminal. Please tell me I'm being foolish and it will be no problem to find a taxi. Or if anyone thinks the Atlantis excursion is worth it please tell...

We're booked with Blue Lagoon in a few weeks. All of my research told me that cabs are easy to get from the cruise ship pier and that it is about $5 per person to get to the Ferry Terminal.

 

I've heard nothing but good things about the Blue Lagoon programs and so-so about Atlantis.
