FUN beaches for kids

Secret Harbor beach has a small, low dive platform that you can swim to from the shore. For some reason those trampoline things don't do well here. Several companies have tried them, but they didn't last.

The only beach with water trampoline set up is Westin's Beach on St. John and its intended for resort guests. The dive raft at Secret Harbor is cool, swim out to it and jump off. You could also consider a beach that has some non-motorized watersports like kayaks, paddle boats and things like that.

Coki Beach is a beautiful beach and very calm if you have small kids. The snorkeling is great and the fish come right up to just above waist deep water for my 8 year old. She just walked right out to the fish and you can feed them!

Go to Coki. Snorkeling, Scuba, food & drinks and Coral World is steps away. The video below is mainly footage from Coki/Coral World, but opens with a beach shot of Magens. For kids, Coki rocks!

We have older kids and were able to scuba right there at the beach while they snorkeled. Then we all went to Coral World, fed stingrays, saw large sea turtles, etc. Coral World has its own excursions too. Snuba/Sea Trek, swim wit Sea Lions, Swim with Sharks....Can do more than one thing on this stop.

(vidoe is in HD, so give it time to download. Pause for a while after hitting play.
