Water Taxis is Cozumel?

Wondering if there is a water taxi you can take to Nachi Cocom, they have on their site that you can arrive by boat.

I've been to Cozumel many times, I've never seen a water taxi. The land based taxi drivers union is a very powerful political organization there. I can't imagine they would look kindly towards the competition. My best guess is the website is referring to the option of having your watersports operator ( dive boats, snorkel boats ect) drop you off there.

 

Plus, boats are fuel pigs. Economically it would not make much sense, when a land based option exists.

Don't think there are water taxis. The only people I know that arrive at Nachi by boats are divers stopping there for their surface interval break.
