What are benefits of booking onboard?

This is our first Carnival cruise...we have used RCCL in the past. I love booking onboard for the room credit.

 

Does Carnival offer something similar??

Only available on the newer ships so far, so depends on what ship you are on.

 

Pretty similar to RCL except you can combine with stock benefits and other OBC.

 

The benefit is the OBC, can either book onboard or buy a certificate for later use.

 

Note: cannot be combined with welcome back credit anymore, so if you are only doing a short cruise, and planning on booking within 60 days of getting back, no dif, no savings from just asking PVP for welcome back credit.
