What type of bag???

What type of bag would you take on the Bath excursion. I would l\ike to carry my 3 sons snorleking mask & tube. Would a leather backpack be ok for walking through the boulders or would a big tote be better?

It should be able to get wet, and a backpack is the easiest.

We fit 2 masks and snorkel sets in those drawstring athletic bags that you wear like a backpack...the bag was lightweight and packed flat in the suitcase. :D

Husband had the backpack with snorkel gear and 2 towels and sunscreen. DEFINITELY better than a handheld tote and he had both hands free when he need them on the "rope/rock" part. He thought it was a bit bulky in some of the tighter spots so maybe the athletic beg would be better. We could have ditched the towels as we stayed in the beautiful water at devil's bay the entire time and jsut air dried on our walk back.

back pack definitely. You need your hands free even if just for balance. Keep it light tho.
