Question regarding shipboard wedding

We leave out of San Francisco to Alaska and are thinking of getting married on board. However it is just the two of us. Would the captain do just a plain ceremony with none of the frills? Well maybe a bottle of champagne :p What kind of license would we need? And yes I know I am running out of time YIKES

Maybe wearing a nice dress not a wedding dress.

I am planning a ship board wedding in July leaving out of Seattle to Alaska.

 

I can tell you that the basic "no frills" / "wedding for two" / "at sea" package is $2500.

I cannot believe it would cost that much for a captain to say some words and sign a licence. GEEZ

We can go to Tahoe or Reno and get married for under $300 Sheesh

Wow. I am kind of stunned. After being together for 19 years..... I don't think I need frills that coist almost as much as one of our cruise tickets

I feel the same way! It should be less than a grand, IMO.

I would be happy with under a grand. $500 would be perfect for some words, champagne, signed licence and maybe a picture or two.
