murphy4 Posted April 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2009 Trying to plan my next cruise for a Southern Caribbean. Would like some opinions on Cruise lines and ports. I see some Southern Caribbean cruises listed as "Exotic". any help would be appreciated. Also, I have only cruised Carnival but I am ready and willing to try another line:D
pharmacist cruiser Posted April 21, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2009 we went on the southern caribbean cruise through Carnival and absolutely loved it! Our favorite port was St. Lucia. We totally recommend Cosol. We were too busy with the 7 day itinerary and didn't allow enough time to relax. We plan to do it again though, loved it! Toothfairy754 Posted May 23, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2009 We are sailing on X next March.. very port intensive but looks like it should be fun. I have sailed Carnival and X is not like them at all... formal nights, traditional dining, and I think a better staff. Also none of the overhead paging all day long. (I really don't need to hear about bingo and hairy men contests.)
aquatot11 Posted July 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 3, 2009 Check out Celebrity's itineraries. They do Southern Caribbean from San Juan and have a great 14 Night "Exotic Caribbean" from Miami, which we are sailing on in January. Charlie
