Noon too late for Atlantis?

Despite the high cost, we would like to do the whole Atlantis visit, including water parks, once. This would be during the summer -- likely August.

The cruise that is best for us (Carnival out of Jacksonville) is scheduled for arrival at Nassau at noon, departing at 10:00 p.m.

I'm wondering whether a noon arrival gives us enough time. Does anyone have a sense of what a realistic time to arrive at the resort would be for a noon arrival at Nassau port? Would it just not be worth it? Our other option would be to take the carnival cruise that arrives at 7:00 a.m., but we'd prefer the Jacksonville 5-day. Just curious about any thoughts. Thanks.

If your arrival is noon....you should be able to be off the boat by 12:15 as long as all goes well. It has been my experience that arrival tends to be earlier than stated in most cases....but one can never tell what mishap or bad weather or so on can happen. Once off the ship it is only a short walk and 15 minute taxi ride max to Atlantis.....put it this way, if I was on a ship that docked at noon I would be standing in Atlantis at 12:30. Now if you go and dilly dally with finding the cheapest taxi who will only leave once he has 10 people then that's another story again. When I get to Nassau I walk out to the street, find the first taxi that is clear and ready to pull out and throw him $30-40 to take 4 of us over to Atlantis ASAP.
