corvettelover Posted April 23, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2009 Hi all, Sailing on the Voyager of the Seas in late June, any recommendations for tour companies that will accomodate 14 people in one vehicle? Ports: Naples, Rome, Pisa/Florence, Nice, Provence. Thanks in Advance!!!! E-mail Jany at romeinlimo.com. She will respond promptly and let you know what can be done to handle a group this size. Their normal Mercedes Vans handle up to 8 people. This company is awesome. We used them in Rome and Naples last May, and they did a wonderful job for us. I will use them again when we return to Italy next year. I believe they also do Livorno/Pisa/Tuscany area, but Idid not use them there.
ghia007 Posted April 23, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 23, 2009 Used romeinlimo during a recent trip to Rome. Had a driver & guide for a full day and guide only for about 4 hrs. at the Vatican. Very pleased with everything and highly recommend them.
chipmaster Posted April 23, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2009 Hi all, Sailing on the Voyager of the Seas in late June, any recommendations for tour companies that will accomodate 14 people in one vehicle? Ports: Naples, Rome, Pisa/Florence, Nice, Provence. Thanks in Advance!!!! Most private companies will offer you something. Likely two mini-vans, which is what we did in Naples, Rome, and Pisa/Florence stops. For our larger group in Istanbul/Kusadasi/Athens we got a small bus. It does depend on what tour company you pick. I personally enjoyed the two vehicle approach for the longer rides then the single larger mini bus. Also the single bus would not have worked in Rome, around Amalfi, and Florence/Pisa.
