FYI...... We were just there and took some taxis. Driving looked like a nightmare to me.

Weird laws with cabs prevent car rentals at Port Lucaya. You have to take a cab to the airport to get a cab but they will shuttle you back. Try bradscarrental.com Once you do have a car the east end is a nice drive through the pine forests to beautiful Gold Rock Beach. The west end has a nice stop at Deadman's Reef for some excellent snorkeling from shore.

There is actually a car rental at the port... Celebrity Rent-A-Car

They are at the Discovery Terminal. 242-352-3052.
