WeBeGone Posted April 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2009 Our Stone Crab season is Oct to May so any crab cakes will be made with frozen crab, not fresh. I'd suggest fresh Key West Pink Shrimp instead. Usually those are served right off the boat. Check out the Shrimp Shack on Stock Island. You can actually watch the boats unload the shrimp.
