Soto's

I have a question about booking thru Soto's. What happens if for some reason we are unable to do the tour? All I find on the website is entering your CC to hold your reservation. I would like to make a reservation but if I am severely sunburned, sick, etc....what is their policy for cancelling?

If you cancel less than 7 days prior, or no-show, they charge a 50% cancellation fee, but I missed them last week because I couldn't get off the tender fast enough, and they didn't charge me. I was able to book through Moby Dick Tours at the pier and ended up having a fantastic time.

I think that's what we'll do (book at the pier). I was told not to miss swimming with the Stingray's. I think my 12 yr old will enjoy it. I wil check the prices on the Grand knowing what Soto's charge and I will also keep in mind that these private tours will be less crowded than the Grand tour.........am I right?

What did you have to pay pp for Moby Dick?

Moby Dick at the pier was $35. On their website, it looks like they have pre-booking at $30. I would contact them just to double-check that they'll be doing two tours in the afternoon. The day we went, Mark said it was the best weather they'd had since Ivan, and decided to make a second run out (making it sound like he didn't always do an afternoon pick-up at the pier).
