Butler on the Dawn now?

Hello fellow NCL lovers!! We will be on the Dawn (again!) in June. And, we'll be in an AB Penthouse. Anyone know who our butler will be? We had Ravi in 2007 (awesome fellow!) and Armando (phenomenal!) last year. It would be FAB if we had either one of them again!

What does a butler do for you and how much are you supposed to tip them?

Tipping is so subjective. Some tip hundreds, others very little. It all depends on how much you use his/her services and what you can afford. The Butler will take care of anything to do inside your cabin: room service, special orders for food or drinks, parties, special amenities, etc. Basically, ask anything and he/she will tell you whether or not it can be done (most often it can).

We had Anoop last year in October, he was WONDERFUL! My son was sick and he made the appt, plus came with us to the Dr on the ship!

We had Patrick as our butler on the Dawn last month (we were in AB).

We were on the Dawn 3/38-4/4, in an AB and Patrick was our Butler as well.

We had Patrick last week and boy was he the very best!!:D:)

 

We ordered dinner from LeBristro on our last night and when he came to set the table he brought along a Frank Sinatra cd and when he came back with the food he insisted he put the cd in the player and not dh.

They really don't want you doing anything if they can do it for you, thats for sure!!! :D

I've never met Patrick. But, if he's as good as Ravi or Armando we'll be in the lap of luxury for sure!!!

Ravi was our Butler a few year's ago on the Dawn he was really GREAT....!!! He treated our Girl's like "Little Princesses"......!!!:D :D

Last year on the Dawn Armando was our butler who was fantastic, too. But, Ravi remembered us and sought us out a few times. He showed up at Impressions on the last night just to say good bye to us!!! Our kids still remember him fondly, too!

My husband and I just got off the Dawn last Sun and we had a forward penthouse...AC...and Anoop was our butler.

 

He was absolutely wonderful!! I hope you enjoy him as much as we did.

Yes, you can put the tips on your account and get vouchers. At least we did last January. We were in a deck 9 forward AC suite and Anoop was our butler. He was wonderful!

We had an AB on deck 11 two weeks ago and Huda was our butler. He was great! Once I forgot to put out our breakfast order card and he came by to check on us to see if we wanted breakfast the next morning! He was very professional and personable!
