Laundry on the Gem

I just read on another board that there is no public laundry on the Gem. Is that true?

No self serve laundry mats on the Gem, or any NCL ship. However, there is the ship's laundry/cleaner service.

On the NCL Sky they offered a special on the 3rd night, all the laundry you could fit in the bag for $24.95 (they charge $2 to wash and fold a pair of socks, just as an example). We were able to fit $130 worth of laundry in the bag by rolling them up. The special doesn't apply to dry cleaning or pressing, just wash and fold.

We were on Gem and were offered (2 times) fill the bag for 24.95. I am very good at stuffing these bags. Came home with fresh cloths. Did not have to much laundry. One of the new perks if you platinum it was free both times.
