January Water Temps

We are considering booking a cruise out of New Orleans in January for our Anniversary. We would be sailing on the Triumph and stopping at Cozumel. I've never been on a cruise in January and we are considering Nochi or another beach excursion. We were wondering if it will even be warm enough to swim in the ocean or pool in January in Cozumel. Can anyone let me know!

How warm is "warm enough"?

I spent 10 days in Cancun in January and the water was great. Not warm warm but warm enough that it wasn't a shock to you system (I hate cold water). The weather was wonderful in the low 80's

Water temp is perfect! It's not bathwater but not cold either. We always go in January and love it. We have enjoyed Paradise beach for the past several years.
