Titanic tour in halifax

Recommended Posts

Just wondered if anyone has ever done this tour. If so, is it worth the time and money? Says it's $59 for the tour through the ship. How far away is it? Could I do this on my own?

Thanks.

Joanne

The Titanic exhibit is located in the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic which is on the waterfront within walking distance of the pier---about 15 minutes. http://museum.gov.ns.ca/mma/index.html

You could then take a taxi to the Fairview Cemetery and ask the driver to take you to the Titanic grave section. I don't know what the rates are for a taxi but it would not be $59 per person.

I just noticed that you will be boarding the Eurodam as we get off in NYC after our transatlantic.
