ellie_p74 Posted April 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2009 Can any one tell me what they thought of the victory on the southern caribbean cruise? Just did the Valor this past Feb and would like to do this cruise April 2010 on our kid's spring break. They'll be 14,7 and 5 next year. I don't see many reviews for this boat with kids. This will be there third cruise. Just wondering for other families who did this cruise if it was too much stopping every day at a port. Wondering also how the circle c is on this boat? We just like how there are some different islands we haven't seen yet.
epixx Posted April 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2009 Our family of 4 (kids ages 14 and 10) sailed Victory Southern Caribbean for the New Year's cruise. We had a blast! We thought that the best part of the cruise was that the ship stopped in a port each day, and the ports were great. In St. Thomas we shopped (we have girls), walked, and took tram to Paradise Point. In Dominica we went River Tubing with Antours (definitely recommend this excursion). For Antigua, we spent the day at Dickenson Beach. In St. Lucia, we took Cosol tour of the island. In Barbados we went to The Boatyard. In St. Kitts we went to another beach (cannot remember the name). Sorry, with all the time in the ports the kids didn't have time for Circle C. Quilcruisers Posted April 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 29, 2009 I have the same question about the kids club. My son is going with us this time, this is his 2nd cruise. He is 5 years old and loves cruising (and flying). I always take him off with me when I get off the ship so I'm not worried about that but we do want him to have some time in kids club for his sanity and ours. He is used a routine and needs some structure, even on vacation! Angela
