rccl724 Posted April 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2009 We are on the Elation May 7th and were told by Carnival to expect an announcement tonight that we will be doing two days at sea rather than stopping in Ensenada. If we don't stop in Ensenada how much should we expect in an OBC for the refunded port charge? Thank you for your input.
firefly333 Posted April 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2009 If you only have one port and it is not replace, then $20. If they substitute another port, then $0. http://www.carnival.com/CMS/Static_Templates/Port_Cancellation_Policy.aspx If safety, scheduling or other concerns prevent the ship from calling on an alternative port, Carnival shall promptly provide written notice of the elimination of the scheduled port to the guests as well as announcing the change in the Carnival Capers and via the public address system. The written notice shall also offer a shipboard credit of $20.00 (U.S.D.) per person to be reflected on the sail and sign account.
