Vancouver restaurant fairly near the airport

Recommended Posts

We will be staying at the Delta Vancouver airport hotel twice, once the day we arrive before our cruise and again the day before we depart after the cruise (Just how it worked out on Priceline!). We're sure to be tired when we arrive in Vancouver after having traveled from Miami, but we'd like to have a reasonably nice dinner someplace that's not too far away from the hotel. We will have a rental car. Any suggestions?

How about something in Steveston? It's not really close to your hotel, (about 5 miles) but it's on the water and has great seafood.

Closer to the hotel, The Keg is always decent.

You will find a ton of Chinese restaurnts out in Richmond near the airport and their is an Earl's on No 3 Road not far from your hotel. Also on No. 3 Road there is a White Spot. There is also a Cactus Club Cafe...where else but on No 3rd. I have also eaten in the hotel and it is good.

Well, there's another option, eat at the airport. In the domestic departures area, pre-security, there's a Milestones, which serves excellent food.

You mention you have a rental car, that opens up a huge number of restaurants in the municipality of Richmond (the area near the airport).

http://dinehere.ca/ is an excellent resource to find what you're looking for. There's also thge River Rock Casino, walking distance from the hotel.

Also, if you're arriving for a late season cruise, the new subway will be open at the end of August from the airport to downtown (Canada Place), which really opens up a lot more options (and saves a rental car for you).
