Canada Place and rental car return

We are renting a car in Seattle and driving to Vancouver and will be staying in Vancouver 2 days prior to our cruise on HAL. Can anyone confirm that HAL departs from Canada Place pier and secondly, are there any rental car drop offs at the pier? Hertz website says they do, but you cannot book it online and Hertz says the dropoff is actually on Granville St 5-10 minutes away and not at the pier. Budget says there is an office at the pier, but wondered if it was really there or if we would be shuttled to the actual drop off.....basically, we would prefer to return to the pier and not have to mess with a shuttle. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

1) I can confirm that HAL is at Canada Place this year.

2) Hertz don't have an office at Canada Place, but co-ordinate pickup/drop off. You're best to call them at 604-606-4711 to confirm how it all works.

Avis, Budget and National/Alamo operate a kiosk at Canada Place. But likely your best plan is drop your party and luggage at Canada Place then drive to the downtown location of whoever you rent from and they will shuttle you back to CP. Hertz is about as far away from CP as you can get, both Budget and Avis are comfortable walks without luggage.
