The sad thing is, to get those two good looking shots, I took about 300 pics that are either blued out so bad you can't see anything or are just not very good and still had to spend about 10 minutes each on those two with photoshop to sharpen the images and make them look like that (which is about what it was in real life).

Pictures just don't do justice to what you actually see.

Awesome shots everyone!

I chose the pix below for the good stories.

Enjoy!

Porcupinefish, Curacao, Pierbaai Reef, with The Dive Bus http://www.the-dive-bus.com

I love this one because of the incredible colors, and the reflections in the eye of the fish. This one was taken on the way back in on our second dive in about 15 feet of water. I had been playing peek-a-boo with some morays, and this fish swam right out of a hole in the coral head in front of me.

Grey angel, Boynton Beach, FL, Gulfstream Reef with Starfish Enterprise http://www.idivestarfish.com/

Hubby Keith got this one on his very first time time out with the camera. What a shot!

Sponge & worm, Boynton Beach, FL, Gulfstream Reef with Starfish Enterprise http://www.idivestarfish.com/ I drifted by this in the middle of a dive, swam back up, drifted by again, had to clear my mask from laughing, swam back up, and got this shot on the way by the third time. (you know you're laughing, too)

Golden eel, St. Kitts, with Kenneth's Dive Center http://www.kennethsdivecenter.com/

This eel was a total ham. He had been photographed by two other folks by the time I got there, and he came further out of his hole and turned for me to get his cute side.

HUGE stingray, Belize, Mermaid's Castle, with SeaSports Belize http://www.seasportsbelize.com/welcome.html

I didn't know stingrays even came this big - he's actually about 8 feet across the wings. I saw him before the rest of the group, floated softly down to the sand in front of him, and took this shot just after I landed. The other divers joined us, and he slowly lifted off the sand and swam majestically over the wall as if he was saying "noisy divers, again" with a sigh.

Keep a mask and your underwater camera handy and when the DM ask if anyone wants to swim with the dolphins you sometimes get lucky like I did. Sure wish I would have also had a snorkel handy, I about ran low on air. check out the video http://sports.webshots.com/video/3060769230091393226OUsCBg

Anyone know why the dolphins roll over on their backs and swim along like that?

All were taken with a point and shoot camera, an Olympus Stylus 600 in an Olympus housing. On a few I also used an Ikelite strobe made for use with point and shoot cameras.
