Trunk Bay has been a great stop for us a few times. To me ... it is about as nice as a beach can be. The water isblue and clear......the sand is white. The snorkling is excellent.

Has anyone gone on Eli's Eco Tour??

Isn't that an excursion in Antigua

We have been to St. Thomas twice. First time we went to Magens Bay in the morning and then shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie in the afternoon.

The second time we visited we went to Trunk Bay. We did prefer Trunk Bay over Magens Bay, but loved both beaches. For our first cruise, I was glad that I went to Magens Bay as it was easy to get to and still allowed us plenty of time to do other things as well.

We went to Paradise Point in the morning and in the afternoon we did the kayak, hike, snorkle trip in the mangrove. We kayaked for a mile in the mangrove, snorkled off a small beach, then hiked(more like a nature walk) to the tidepools. I liked it, it was more of a quiet excursion and interesting. The snorkling wasn't great, but the tidepools were fun, and occasionally the guides would stop and do nature talks.
