TomAndJane Posted May 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2009 O.K. got a question. I know that I need to take the ferry from St. George to Dockyard so we can explore a little. Now comes the problem. We want to go to Horseshoe Bay from Dockyard then onto John Smiths Bay. What bus do we catch at Dockyard that goes to Horseshoe Bay? What bus do we catch to go to John Smiths Bay? What about buses directly from St. George to Horseshoe Bay if we decided to do that one afternoon?
SailBadtheSinner Posted May 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2009 … What bus do we catch at Dockyard that goes to Horseshoe Bay?... Take a route #7 inbound bus or if there is a cruise ship at the Dockyards, there may be running a special direct bus to Horseshoe Bay. ….. What bus do we catch to go to John Smiths Bay?.... Take a route #1 outbound to go to John Smiths Bay from Hamilton but if you coming from HSB, you would take the bus #7 inbound and transfer to the #1 outbound. I believe you can transfer at the hospital as you go inbound and then cross the street to pick up the #1 outbound. As you board each bus, greet each driver and tell them your destination. They will be very helpful. .. What about buses directly from St. George to Horseshoe Bay if we decided to do that one afternoon?.. There are no buses that go directly to HSB from SG. You must take a #10 or #11 inbound to Hamilton and take a #7 outbound from Hamilton to HSB. I would recommend buying a bus pass SBtS
