Shuttle Express - post-cruise?

My family of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids) will be coming off the Star on Saturday, July 11, 2009. Our flight is not until 3:15 p.m. We are staying one night pre-cruise and doing the Needle at that time. The NCL post-cruise tour gets us to the airport too early and it stops at the Needle which we would already have seen! We really want to see some of the area before we leave!

 

We are considering a private city tour (3.5 hours) with Shuttle Express instead of their regular tour which also stops at the Needle. We like being able to customize the tour and not get to the airport too early. We are considering: Pike Place, Magnolia Park, and Alki Beach as potential stops.

 

Questions:

1. For the price ($400), is this post-cruise tour and transfer to airport worth it? (NCL post-cruise would be $300+)

 

2. Has anyone taken a post-cruise tour with them?

 

3. Are our potential stops good choices (Pike Place, Magnolia Park, and Alki Beach)? Any other suggested stops/views?
