WOW is over why is it still so hard to get through to RCI?

Hi,

 

Has anyone else had trouble or been on hold for over 10 minutes with RCI lately? I know that the past two days were the WOW sale but it seems over the past few weeks it's so hard to get through. Just was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this.

uh, yeah. We were booked on Mariner to Cabo 5/24 and it was redirected to Seattle, etc. Not good for a graduation celebration. We spent a total of more than 2 days on the phone, talking or on hold with RC to have the plans changed. Very drustrating. Thier Swine Flu call line is a joke. The people oon the other end have no power to make changes. Frustrating. We slogged through though, and were rebooked on Liberty out of Miami. Hang in there!

I have been sitting here on hold for 22 minutes and counting at this very moment.

OK I finally got through after 20 minutes on hold!!! RCI needs to get their act together. :rolleyes: Always very nice once you can get them on the phone at least. Happy Cruising!!!

It may be worthwhile to call the Captain's Club number instead of the regular number; I have often found the hold times to be significantly less. They might not be able to help you with the particular issue you are calling about but I would give it a try.

I think the problem relates to layoffs as cost cutting measures.

Interesting....I called first thing this morning at 9am and got right through...no holding at all. Hang in there!
