Day 1: 4/27/09 At Sea 2:15pm LGBT GET-TOGETHER

Cruise Director’s Staff. Crooner, Deck 7 Mid-ship

 

Well the turnout was quite shocking for me, and the cruise line, I have never seen this many individuals show up for one of these meetings. The crowd, both men and women! I would say 50+ in numbers. This overwhelmed the ship by the shear numbers of those who attended. We just about took over the Crooner’s Piano Bar. The ship supplied free Champagne to everyone in attendance. And there was BAR SERVICE for those who drank other libations.

 

Day 2: 4/28/09 At Sea 2:30pm LBGT GET-TOGETHER

Numbers in attendance, (just men) but less than the 1st day

Free Champagne to everyone in attendance. NO BAR SERVICE

Interesting they changed the name of the meeting for some reason.:mad: Less in attendance as we go into the week.:confused:

BAR SERVICE, buy you own. For some reason the group split up into two different groups. I must admit, I was just a little late arriving. So I am not aware of the reasoning, I guess its because before we just made a circle in the room and cut off circulation of anyone else who wanted to enjoy the bar area.

 

At this point I did not attend any further meetings.

None of us could figure out why there was no bar service at some of these meeting, they the cruise line, could have made money during these meetings. Oh well! Plently of indiviudals wanted something other that the Champaign and they were willing to pay.
