rpmljm Posted May 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2009 I am considering a cruise to Alaska in either the late part of June or early July. What is the weather like typically at that time of year? I have heard it is cool and very rainy. Is that correct for the most part? Thanks for your help!
momstime Posted May 9, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2009 Be prepared for overcast and rain, but when we went last year in early July we did not get a single day of rain all week. Our friends went the following week and had great weather as well. I wore short sleeves the whole time (except on our excursions that went near the glaciers). Putterdude Posted May 9, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2009 Weather in Alaska is extremely variable from week to week and from year to year...I would pack for the cool damp weather, throw in a pair of shorts and a few t-shirts and if the weather is warm, well good for you.:)
