mzoscar1 Posted May 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2009 First sailing with Azamara...looking forward to it! Anyone have any experience with this cabin? We love aft cabins, but wondering about the stated size difference in balconies for the SVs. Are the larger balconies the SV cabins at the front or do some decks have larger balconies than others? Project_gal Posted May 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2009 mzoscar1 We were in the PH next door, 8091, on Quest so the balcony is the same depth but the same width as a standard balcony - see the attached photograph. The view of the wake was mesmerizing. Sue
Sallieo Posted May 20, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2009 It looks like in the brochure that in the aft rooms on the 8th deck, there is something blocking the balcony view. Is that correct? Was the view alright from the back of the boat? We are in room 8090 on an upcoming cruise. Thanks!
karolm Posted May 20, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2009 I was on the Quest 6090. Aft balcony 8090 and 8093 are identical without anything blocking your view. The largest SV balconies are 6090 and 6093 due to configuration of the ship. the balconies on 7 are smaller, and 8 smaller.

I am a fairly certain that it is NOT correct that the balconies on 7 and 8 are smaller. They are just set back from the decks below. We were in 8091 and made friends with people in 7121. They saw our balcony and said the depth was the same.
