For anyone that's been to Orient Beach lately

The last time we were there, years ago, there was a restaurant there called Pedro's. However, they are no longer listed on the restaurant guide but a coupon looking exactly like Pedro's shows the name as The Pirate and offers the same incentive. Is Pedro's still there? Has the name changed to The Pirate? What's up? Anyone know anything?

We can't honestly remember if we saw Pedro's and we were there just last week.

The Pirate and Pedros are different restaurants/bars

Pedro's was there in Dec. 2008. They have fixed the wooden stairs leading down to the beach (erosion and all that)

Both Pedro's and The Pirate were operating as normal in mid-May 2009.

Pedros just fine in early June. Fast, cheap, good.
