Miss Tracey Lacey Posted May 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2009 I think it would be nice to renew vows on board, of course my dh thinks it is a waste of money idea. Has anyone done it and how was it? Thanks

KansasScrapper Posted May 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 10, 2009 We did on the Star Princess. It was on one of the Formal nights and it was very nice. I would be happy to answer any questions. http://family.webshots.com/photo/1470217479065147273znzboQ
anniversarycruiser40 Posted May 11, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 11, 2009 Oh, all of these negative people! We did a renewal of vows on our 40th Anniversary on the Tahitian Princess, 10 day cruise to French Polynesia. It was well worth the money! And yes, my husand enjoyed it too:) We had a very small wedding back in 67' and I had always wanted a renewal because of that. I bought a new off white long dress, husband rented a tux and even though it was just the two of us, it was very special. The Captain did the vows, a photographer was there (my husband set up the video too), we had champayne at the ceremony and in our cabin later had a bottle of champayne with glasses to keep, a copy of the vows and a certificate and a free 8/10 picture with frame. All for aroud $206. We invited our 4 kids over to watch the video when we got back. Not a dry eye in the place! I think you are on our Ruby 11/04/09 roll call. I'd be happy to fill you in on the details! I tried to add a picture, but couldn't get it to work on this site.
