Tiki Hut Snorkel Park?

We are considering this excursion in August. Has anyone done it? Can you share your experience?

A few years ago we did this excursion. It was the perfect way to learn to snorkel (IMHO). The trip over was on a little boat..fun but very rocky. The folks that worked there were easy going and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Some ppl went back to the ship early. The 'shuttle' boat came by a few times to transport. We stayed most of the day and enjoyed the 'ambiance'. Here are some pictures of the trip.

Poohb.... Thank you for your response. So it would seem this would not be a great choice for an experience snorkeler who loves to see sunken ships?

Probably not. DH says the sunken ship and cannons were put there specifically for this snorkel place. It was our first time, we felt v. comfortable.

We have been on the excursion to the Tiki Hut 3 times. It is great!!!

I have seen small squid and octopus, besides the usual fish.

 

After snorkeling, enjoy relaxing in a noodle chair in the water
