what if it rains most of the time?

Recommended Posts

What do you do, especially when your kids hearts are set on the pools and water slides. How about while in port? We'll be in key west and nassua?
It looks like it's going to be low 80s at least... being an former Florida boy, unless you get a huge system coming through it doesn't rain all day. Your kids will have fun.

We had rain every sea day on Ecstasy once. The good news is no chair hogs!!!!

We had 25 foot waves which hit our port hole cabin for about 24 plus hours straight. Kinda exciting?

You just find a indoor activity. We never saw the slides open and I wanted to try them. You just do the best you can if it rains.

yeah rain doesn't hurt you and if you are in the pool um your wet.

Funny thing is people think if it is lighting they just need to stay out of the pool to be safe.

Lightning is static electricity that jumped quite a few miles from clouds above your head to hit whatever on the boat. If it is raining the ground is wet you are part of the whatever on the boat no matter where you are.

Lightning is several million volts and will jump a 20ft gap of air from the pool to anywhere on the deck you may be standing, static electricity follows no set paths except the one from above to below. Lightning will jump through the wall of a house and into your bed its all about bad luck or good luck for some freaks!

We were on a cruise that it rained... the entire week! I think we had the most fun on that cruise then any other. We got to meet more people and had a blast with them. There are covered over areas on the ship and like they said.. you can still swim. In port we just wear a rain coat and keep going, just like Disney World! (without the ugly yellow poncho lol)
