Princess contest on Twitter

As the person who posted this I feel a little responsible when everyone is worried this might be a hoax. :( I'm sorry if you're worried, but I just think this is the real deal, and here are my reasons why. Like the above posters mentioned, the winners did get a direct message on Twitter with directions on how to contact a Princess email address, with a real Princess person who replied to my email. I don't know why the contest press release isn't searchable on the Princess site :confused:, but that was the link that the official Princess Twitter account posted. I doubt a fake Twitter account could hack the Princess site like that, lol. I think the prize will be awarded as OBC, bc the directions asked for a booking number. (Are there even gift certificates specifically for the Crown Grill anyway? just curious!)

 

there, I hope that clears up any worries (and that all the winners get to enjoy their Crown Grill dinners, too)! :)

I did a quick google search, just to be safe, and found that the email address belonged to the Media Information Specialist at Princess Cruises. So I sent all my info, no problem, but some have mentioned getting a follow-up email and I didn't get anything like that. Did I do something wrong? My boyfriend booked the cruise and we used his email address for both of our names, but I used my mailing address, so the only information that would be different is my email address. Our cruise leaves on June 11th... what do you think I should do?

I called and spoke to Suzanne personally...she is the person we emailed our contact info. She said the contest is legit, she didn't get to email everyone back personally however we should see the credit in our bookings shortly.

Just so everyone knows - I got a reply from the Princess email addy because I asked a specific question about the credit. Sorry if I made anyone get worried, I totally didn't mean to! :o
