Hi all, We have just been assigned our cabin on the Volendam 1815 Its a Large inside H cabin with porthole. We had originally booked an inside guarentee so we are please to have an outside I know the Volendam is oversold any cabin would be fine, its not a big deal we are just happy to be onboard.. Has any one had any experience with portholes? or Main deck. thanks in advance

We had H1807 (a few cabins forward of yours) on the Volendam. The only difference is a smaller round window rather than the rectangular window in the other outside cabins.

 

You may experience a banging noise that far front (we did). It is the waves hitting the bow and is affectionately called "Bow Slap". You might bring ear plugs.
