spaghetti Posted May 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2009 Has anyone been in a deck 9 (Lido) forward balcony cabin on starboard side? Wondering if there is much rocking to be felt on a deck that high and forward.
Heirloom Posted May 17, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2009 The further forward......the rougher it gets if you hit bad water ! Badda Bing, Badda Boom ! Suggest you bring patches or pills with you, take before departure...and you probably won't need after 2 days as body gets use to the motion. JoanK Posted May 17, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 17, 2009 We were on Deck 10 forward last March on 6 day. Sail was ok except for one night going around Cuba. Rocking lasted approx 3-5 mins ????? You will OK, once there's not really bad weather. Hope this helps.
misguidedangel Posted May 17, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2009 I had a deck 8 that was five cabins from the bridge and the motion was not bad. I've also had a Lido deck cabin (9294) and no problem.
Chacooe Posted May 18, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2009 I was on the Pride up front and I did not feel anything. You will if there is bad weather, but then every one in the ship will feel that so you will not be alone. I personally like the rocking of a ship, it makes it even more adventurous. jessemon Posted May 18, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2009 Has anyone been in a deck 9 (Lido) forward balcony cabin on starboard side? Wondering if there is much rocking to be felt on a deck that high and forward. Was just on deck 10 (Panorama) on the Glory. It was fine but, the seas were mostly calmer. As has been mentioned. The further forward or aft and the higher you go the more motion there is......;)
