Another Currency Exchange Question

Recommended Posts

I know there have been many questions regarding this - but here it goes:

I read that Princess offers a currency exchange machine and for a cost of $3.50 they will exchange your money for you and give you a certain exchange rate.

My question is - does anyone know what their exchange rate is like? Is it really bad or compariable to the average rates that you'd get using an ATM? Our ATM fee is 3% so it might be cheaper to just use their machine...trying to figure this out. Our bank will charge $5 for each currency to be exchanged so that is the other option to get money ahead of time too.

Also, do you know if the ship will re-exchange your money back to US dollars if you have some left over after coming back from port?
