We saw QEII in Dubai this past February....still moored at the pier with modest engine power still on. Her announced renovation into ''something else'' had been delayed due to the local developper's financial stress...But all is underway now...

Thanks Claude -- my wife, Amy, went on QE2's final voyage to Dubai with our daughter. We've spent something like 150 days on QE2 .. More than any other ship. Sad to see her go and her way of doing things.
