Princess - Mykonos

We are visiting Mykonos during our upcoming Ruby Princess cruise. Does Princess have a shuttle bus into Mykonos Town without taking a tour excursion? If so, what is the charge?

Been twice first we docked some distance away and got a shuttle bus

 

it was free, second time we tendered and were dropped of down town.

We were on the Grand Princess in Oct '08 and didn't make it to Mykonos

at all. The Captain aborted the port after two tries, due to high winds.

We were on the Star in November 2007 and we also missed Mykonos because of high winds and rough seas. :(

In April 2007 when our WINDY tour ended in town we were able to get a free shuttle back to the ship. We didn't go in to town from the ship because we went with our tour bus.

Just had friends come back from a Princess Med Cruise. If you dock in Mykonos, the shuttles are not free. 7 Euro or $10 USD if I recall correctly.

The walk from the terminal into town, isn't that bad, but when I went on Celebrity, it was complimentary.

When we stopped in Mykonos, the Grand Princess anchored a little off shore and we tendered right into town. It was very convenient. Another cruise ship was using the dock, which is a little ways out of town. If you are fortunate, you will anchor offshore and tender into town.
