lovevacadays Posted May 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2009 Came across these on Trip Advisor. Any thoughts on them? It looks like the Greenhouse Restaurant isnt on the beach or a marina? We are looking for a place to eat lunch that has either an ocean, bay or marina view. It can be a casual beach bar type atmosphere. Any suggestions would be welcome
Ms411 Posted May 21, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2009 Wikked at Yacht Haven Grande or one of the restaurants at Emerald Beach/Lindberg Bay. There's a thread, something like Good Eats on St Thomas, in this forum where I gave more details on Wikked.
JP32 Posted May 21, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2009 Food at Greenhouse is good and has a big menu. It's on the waterfront downtown but I can't remember if you get much of a view of the water, maybe someone else has been there more recently and could tell you about the view. Fungi's is right on the water, much smaller menu but everything we've had there has been good.

laser110 Posted July 15, 2009 #6 Share Posted July 15, 2009 The GreenHouse is on the waterfront. Attached is a pic I took from there last month. You can decide if it's enough waterview for you or not
kcparrothead Posted July 15, 2009 #7 Share Posted July 15, 2009 located at Bolongo Bay resort. Great for lunch and drinks. I read on another thread that Iggie's was closed in the afternoons. Maybe just SOME afternoons?
The Islander Posted September 29, 2009 #8 Share Posted September 29, 2009 Iggies has a website you can view menu and check hours: http://www.iggiesbeachbar.com/ --Islander
stones902 Posted September 29, 2009 #9 Share Posted September 29, 2009 Iggie's is awesome but you might want to check their daytime hours. I would estimate it is a 15 minute ride from the pier (more during rush hour) . Nice beach and good drinks - be sure to ask Jack (the bartender) for his special "Key Lime shot" - it's not on the menu.
