What to do in Cozmel ?

Me and DH don't really want to do an excursion. What is there to do within walking distance or short taxi ride?

Discover Mexico is an option that is not too far South of the ship piers. It is $17 for admission, and I hear it's pretty cool. DW and I will probably check it out on our vacation in 3 weeks.

If you decide to book an excursion:

Please do not book through **************** with Carrie. She did not refund my money after trying to cancel when the Swine Flu broke out and our Carnival Ship was re-routed. I have been trying to get my money back for a month now.

So far I am out 210.00 We were to go to Mr. Sanchos all inclusive and I booked it through ****************

Carrie will make good, just will take a bit of time. Have faith. :o

Been talking to Carrie for a month. Been nice waiting, now she does not return my emails. I am still hoping she comes through with the payment, I was truly bumbed that I could not do my excursion and not able to go to Cozumel....Hopefully this will work out.

Cozumelenos have had their main source of income stripped out from under them over this swine flu thing. Now, I am not saying that excuses anything, and all I'm really saying is I believe that Carrie will take care of you, albeit perhaps not as timely as you would like. :o

Yes, I am hoping that once the cruise ships start up with Cozumel again, and they start re-couping some of their loss, that I too will get some of my loss back also.

Sorry to say, but the problems with Carrie at Tour Cozumel started several weeks before the swine flu ever hit. The owner of Mr. Sanchos himself suggests that you do not book with that company. Since early April they have been taking money from customers and NOT PAYING Mr. Sanchos for the customer's entrance.

Other things to do in Cozumel? We have found a ton of things. Horseback riding, ATV rides, beach breaks, a cooking class, swimming with the dolphins. If you need more info on any of those you can search the boards or ask specifics :)
