Bermuda with my elderly mom

My sister and I are thinking of taking our mom to Bermuda on RCI's 5 day. We'll be docked at King's Wharf for 2 days. Mom is mobile but slow and doesn't have a huge amount of stamina. Any suggestions for someone with limited mobility? Obviously, no stairs/beach/snorkel/walking tours. Is there shopping close by? What is public transportation like? Climbing into a bus probably isn't an option. Taxi availability & price? Is it a tender port? Any suggestions appreciated!

There is a tram (free) that will take you to several points at the Dockyard including the Clocktower Mall if she can climb up into the tram. (It's like the trams at Hershey Park to take you from the parking lot to the park and back.) There are also several park benches around the Dockyard area. The bus/ferry transportation is good but if she cannot climb the steps to the bus, you would probably be better off taking the ferry to Hamilton or St George. The ferry ride is enjoyable and the are things to see a short distance from the ferry terminals in both towns. Taxis are expensive.

We had one day in Bermuda on our cruise in 2007 with my in-laws. Both are pushing 90. They had a blast around the Dockyard. They took the free tram over to the Clock Tower Mall then went over to the rum cake factory and glass blowing store. Then, took the tram back to the ship. Like lacruiser said, lots of benches and places to sit and people-watch. She would probably enjoy the ferry ride over to Hamilton or St. George's as well.
