sweetlittlething212003 Posted May 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2009 I've just booked for the 11/19 sailing out of JAX. I'm wondering if the ship has designated smoking sections or is smoking permitted anywhere throughout the ship. Also, do they have non-smoking cabins? No non smoking staterooms aboard this ship, but they do a great job of making the scent disappear ! Smoking is allowed in designated areas of the ship, but then there are those that will not abide by the rules !

Smoking is permitted in cabins, on balconies, certain designated bars and lounges, the casino, the cigar bar (if they have one) and on one side of the ship on outside public decks. Check the Capers when you board to find the smoking venues. There are no "nonsmoking" cabins on any Carnival ships except the Spa Cabins on the Splendor...and on the Dream when it enters the water. It is Royal Caribbean that has banned smoking inside ALL cabins.
