buzzro Posted May 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2009 When cruising Boston to Halifx how close to shore is the ship? Is there any advantage to which side of the ship you chose/or whether you have a balcony with regard to the view? Or, is it all open water? SailBadtheSinner Posted May 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2009 The cruise ship is usually well off shore so the only time it makes a difference is when entering a port; but in that case, what you don’t see on the way in, you’ll see on the way out (except maybe on the St Lawrence River). Assuming your arrival & departure are during daylight hours. SBtS
eh2zed Posted May 27, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2009 Except for arriving or departing ports you usually are too far away from shore to enjoy any scenery.
