staying on GC for a week

Went into Georgetown yesterday and only 1 ship in port. A Carnival one and guess where the shopping advisor was? You guessed it, in DI waiting for the kick back. There are 3 in today with about 10,000 passengers. We will stay at our hotel. Took a circle around the island and hundreds of beautiful homes along the shoreline. Almost everyone had a for sale sign. Even saw 3 above ground cemetaries right at the water's edge. No high ground like STT, STM, etc.

Everthing is always for sale. Well, almost everything. For the seven years I have lived here there have been for sale signs planted all around. This is not a sign of current financial times.

If you drive up to Rum Point you will notice a few different kinds of signs. Many of the homes have sign with the name of the home. There's Villa Zara, Scuba Shack, Bali Hai Kai, Kai Co Nut, and many more.

Perhaps my favorite is a house with a slightly different name - Not For Sale.
