4th of July on Carnival?

We will be on the Victory June 28 - July 5. Our last evening on board will be July 4th. I was curious, does Carnival do anything on these cruises? Our cruise is out of San Juan, which is a territory of the US. (not sure if this makes a difference or not). I was just curious as to whether or not they do fireworks or anything equally 4th-related.

Thank you!

I will also be sailing on the June 28th sailing of the Carnival Victory. I guess I will celebrate by going on the canopy tour in St. Kitts.

Where did you get the count down clock tracking the time until your cruise?

Oh cool! Come say hi in our roll call! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=793352

I got it from http://*****/

There are countdown clocks that the board has as well in the main navigation bar, but I've loved the one I have since back in the day of the OLD cruise critic format :)

you'll have to go over to Disney. They are the only cruise line with a pyrotech school (yes, you have to be trained and certificated to do this and Disney has a school because of the theme parks) AND they have the patent on the device to fire the shells from the funnel of the ships. So for fireworks at sea, they are the only game in town. Carnival normally does a deck party for the 4th, but as this year it is Saturday, which is the last night for a lot of cruises, I don't know what they'll do.

Enjoy

Yeah they're not that important to me, LOL. I'd prefer to stay away from Disney as long as possible ;) I'll have to wait until I have children, and they're still a year or two off.

Interesting stuff, though! Thanks!
