Halifax International Busker Festival

Just saw where this festival is August 9 to 16th 2009. Went to website but it say "information coming soon, keep checking back". Anyone have information about it or ever been in port when this was going on?

We were there on a land vacation in mid-August a few years ago when this, or at least a similar, festival was going on. Lots of street entertainers along the waterfront. The local radio stations would have small stage areas set up featuring dancers, jugglers, gymnasts, singers, and there were more of the same in more informal set-ups along the waterfront as well. It was quite entertaining.

We were in Halifax two years ago on Victory during the Buskers' Festival. We saw mimes, stilt walkers, jugglers, etc. Lots of music. It was fun, and the crowds weren't unmanageable.
